This was the moment I decided to share the Pilates method with others, to help them find balance, prevent injuries or to recover from one, just as it had helped me.”
Before commencing her Pilates journey, Karol experienced a range of injuries to her hips, knee, shoulder and she also had an inguinal hernia repair.
“Since I have started practicing Pilates I have not had a single injury. Last year I had abdominal surgery to remove fibroids and thanks to my Pilates practice I was able to return to work just three weeks after surgery; it usually takes at least 6 weeks if you have an active job.”
Karol completed her Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction from Pilates International and began working with Pilates International in Pymble and Pilates Works in North Sydney. In 2016, she completed the Pilates Master Mentoring Program with Joseph Pilates’ protégé, Lolita San Miguel. This intensive program in Miami, Florida allowed Karol to work with the best of the best and bring her learnings back to Australia.
“It has been such a rewarding journey so far, to be able to heal my own body and help others improve their physical and mental health. Having experienced the recuperative benefits of Pilates makes me a committed and effective instructor and a total convert to the Pilates method.”
Karol helps her clients using the Pilates method to achieve long-term goals including athletic performance improvement, pain relief management, improved flexibility and balance, and spiritual and mind body connection.
