Karol moved to Australia from Venezuela in 2006 with a dream of working in the health and well-being industry. Karol has been active from a young age including gymnastics, aerobics, rollerblading, hiking and running and surfing. But it wasn’t until after a partially successful surgery on an injured hip, that she found Pilates.
“My regular running routine was impossible and pretty much everything I tried caused me pain. As somebody who loves to feel fit, healthy and comfortable with my body it was incredibly challenging and I felt so unbalanced,” Karol said.
