From her early childhood Anna had a keen interest in professional sports activities. She began taking part in classical dance choreography, then later switched to hip hop before becoming a fitness instructor. Anna’s experience as a fitness instructor saw her teaching aerobics, step, latina, aqua aerobics and yoga in Moscow.
Anna’s first, main teacher was her mother – a Pilates instructor with more than 20 years experience under her belt. She inspired Anna with the idea of optimal body development, biomechanics and energy consumption. It was then upon moving to Australia that Anna chose to follow her passion for Pilates; successfully completing her Pilates Diploma with the internationally recognised Pilates School: BASI.
Just after starting her new career as a Pilates instructor, Anna had a motorbike accident which has since caused her to suffer from Spinal Disc Protrusion. Anna suffered terribly from back pain, but her continued Pilates practice enabled Anna to rehabilitate to a point where she no longer feels pain.
When Karol and Anna met, they instantly connected and knew they had to work together. Since becoming an instructor at pilateswise, Anna’s passion for the studio and connection to her clients has quickly made her a valuable part of our small team. Anna is looking forward to accompanying her clients through the process of self development, fitness goals achievement, physical and mental growth to pursue a fulfilling life.
